BW 4040 Membrane is a high-efficiency reverse osmosis membrane designed for treating salt water and slightly polluted water resources. It is widely used in the water treatment, desalination, and wastewater recycling industries. The standard size of the membrane is 4 inches (about 10 cm) wide and 40 inches (about 101 cm) long. It adopts a spiral winding design to ensure high flow and high efficiency.
BW 4040 Membrane uses high-performance composite polyamide materials. Its characteristics are that it can achieve a high desalination rate at low operating pressure, usually exceeding 99.5%. This membrane can effectively remove dissolved solids, heavy metals, bacteria, and organic matter in water, providing users with purified water that meets drinking water standards.
The working conditions of the membrane include a maximum working pressure of 600 psi (about 41 bar), a suitable operating temperature range of 2-45?, good temperature and pressure resistance, and the ability to adapt to variable water quality and engineering requirements. In addition, BW 4040 Membrane helps achieve a high water recovery rate (typically about 15%), which is very important in water resource management.
BW 4040 Membrane also has excellent anti-fouling ability and is particularly suitable for water bodies containing organic matter and micro-pollutants. Regular backwashing and cleaning maintenance can further extend the service life of the membrane and reduce maintenance costs.
